Regulations and structure of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan have been approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers №270 dated October 25, 1991.

Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan is a republican body of executive power implementing state administration within the scope of its competence in the sphere of protection of human and citizen’s rights and freedom, maintenance of public order, insurance of public security, and directly realizing the main directions of activities of internal affairs bodies of the Republic of Uzbekistan and internal forces of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
