The traditional nationwide hashar was organized in Uzbekistan on 13-14 March in the framework of the beautification and planting months held in March and April.

According to the Mahalla charity fund, about 17 million people participated in the weekend hashar, improving over 35,000 hectares of territories.

Decorative and fruit trees, as well as flowers were planted in parks and gardens, as well as in the streets across the country. Trees were cut and whitewashed, irrigation networks and streets were cleaned.

Hashar participants helped in the construction works, creation of new gardens, laying water and gas pipes and other activities.

According to tradition, low-income and large families, as well as those in need of support were provided with various help.

The funds received from hashar will be used for support of the vulnerable layers of the population.
