One of the biggest achievements of independence was the fact that many of the monuments of Uzbekistan have found a second life.

Over the years, an enormous creative and restoration work made in this direction under the leadership of President Islam Karimov.

Such monuments as Machiti Kalon (mosque of Kalyan), madrasah of Mir-Arab and memorial complex of Bahovuddin Naqshband and others acquired their initial appearance.
