International cooperation in the sustainable management of water resources of Uzbekistan is expanding.

During the discussion, the parties exchanged views on the current status and future prospects of implementing joint infrastructure initiatives in the areas of water supply and wastewater management. The dialogue focused on practical cooperation, key parameters for further project development, and coordination among relevant institutions.

The Minister underscored Uzbekistan’s interest in attracting international expertise and advanced solutions in the field of sustainable water resource management. He also emphasized the importance of transparent and economically sound approaches to the implementation of large-scale infrastructure projects, with particular attention to compliance with national standards and maintaining a balanced consideration of all stakeholders’ interests.

For his part, the head of TAQA Water Solutions confirmed the company’s readiness to continue constructive dialogue and joint efforts aimed at the practical advancement of the initiatives discussed.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties expressed mutual interest in further strengthening cooperation and agreed to maintain ongoing engagement through working-level interactions.
